Running a business is hard - literally anyone you talk to will say the same. If they don't, they're lying. And you know what else is hard? Living in the middle of a pandemic. And if you would have told me a year ago that I'd be trying to do them at the same time I would have laughed. HARD. But here I am, along with hundreds of small business owners trying to figure this thing out.
I'm still in the very beginnings of things. I'm not sure if that makes things easier or harder. Maybe easier in that I don't have a concrete way of doing things. I don't have to completely revamp my whole busiess to adjust to the coronavirus. But it's harder at the same time when all of the in-person plans I had have just fizzled away. I haven't had the opportunity of craft shows and farmers markets that I had hoped for yet. Even if I do find one taking new applicants, it won't nearly be the experience I hoped for.
But I am immensely grateful that I'm still here. Still trying. There's so much to learn and I have maybe more time to learn it now. And when we all come out on the other side (eventually!) I know that all of the things in store for us are going to be incredible.
Stay Safe & Healthy,
Nicole
